Bioni has been established in Germany since 2001 as a spin-off from a company which has been in the paint business for more than 60 years. In the very early stages they started together with the Fraunhofer Institut for Research in Germany (Europe’s largest research institute that was responsible for the development of the airbag and mp3 player) developing a state-of-the-art product for the paint and coatings industry. After approximately five years of research and development Bioni and Fraunhofer introduced a paint to the market using what we like to refer to as Green-Nano. Bioni is globally the only one company which is able to integrate this technology into the paint in a way that the product works. No other company has succeeded so far. The technology is rock solid and patented globally.
Due to Bioni’s Green-Nano technology our systems and coatings have superior moisture regulating properties that allow for permanent mold & fungus protection (permanently prevents mold & mildew growth on the painted film for the life of the coating). Bioni also offers extreme protection against bacteria, specifically deadly drug resistant bacteria such as Staphylococcus Aureus(MRSA) & Enterococcus Faecium with a proven 5-log 99.999% reduction of bacteria on the painted film.* This is all done maintaining GREEN properties (Zero VOC). There is no other green coating on the market that has a function let alone superior functions represented with Bioni systems and products, we are the market. It’s ether a VOC (fungicides, biocides, preservatives) filled paint which lasts a limited time(1 to maybe 2 years) or it’s green and has very limited function.
Bioni Perform exterior coating also provides the same protection against mold and mildew on the paint film along with superior heat deflection (93% deflection), crack bridging, and durability.
Bioni exterior can save up to 38.1% on bill to bill energy savings.
All of this results in large long term cost savings to the customer and a “Solution” to serious problems never before seen.
*Bioni coatings provide anti-microbial properties to prevent the growth of microbes on the paint film only. The anti-microbial properties do not protect food, beverages, users or others against bacteria, germs or mold spores and do not substitute hygiene measurements and practices.
